To sign & to get signed
6MC - 6-month Outdoor Ed. Diploma Contract
As an Outdoor Education Diploma participant, you must sign online the agreement.​

Legally
required certificates
NCR - Non-Criminal Record check

For German participants-
NCR: Should be from within the past 12 months.
If you need a NCR, please send an email with your full name to:
academy@campadventure.de and we will send you a letter for your townhall, with which you can get the NCR for free.

​For International participants-
- NCR must be less than 1 year old.
- NCR must include the clause allowing you to work with the vulnerable sector (children & elderly).
- Online services are not accepted.
- NCR must be issued, signed, and stamped by a Federal or State/Province Police department
(local authorities, such as city or county, are not accepted).
Need Assistance?
If obtaining the NCR independently seems challenging, we often use a specialized international agency that assists many of our participants each season. They ensure the NCR is obtained in person and meets all the necessary requirements.

- PAS must be valid for at least 1 year.
- Picture, Name & DOB must be the same as the application.

In order to get paid any refunds and weekly stipends, you are required to have a European bank account, which is fast and easy. Simply follow this links where you will get the instructions.

Individual Cases
In order to participate in our 6-month long Outdoor Education Diploma program, you need a permission to extend your regular 90-day Tourist Schengen Class Visa*.

Alternatives -

If you are citizen from a country that has a Gap-year program agreement with Germany, you might want to look into this option. Else you can also follow the next alternative.

If you are citizen from a country that does not require a visa for a 90-day period visit into Europe, the office in Hamburg will look into helping you obtaining the extension permission, once you are on site.

If you are citizen from a country that is NOT exempt from obtaining a TOURIST SCHENGEN visa.

It is your responsibility to make sure what you need to obtain a Visa to enter the EU.

We can not guarantee at any point the granting of a Schengen Visa, as such a decision concerns solely to immigration officials at the German consulate.

We can help by providing a Consular Letter*, which you can include in your paperwork while dealing with the German consulate in your home country.

You should NOT request any other type of visa or permit, but ONLY: Tourist Schengen Visa, supported with your Consular Letter.

The Issuing of the consular letter has a cost of 30 euros, non refundable regardless of the immigration office final decision.​​​​
